Establishment of KVS :- |
|
The
Secondary Education Commission recommended that
the Central Government should encourage the growth of
secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of
instruction for the benefit of the children of Central
Government Employees liable to frequent transfer as
well as of other floating population of the country.

In
November, 1962 the Government of India decided to
implement this recommendation of the Commission
by establishing Central Schools at different places in
the country. |

These Schools give priority to the children of
transferable Central Government Employees,
including defence personal and personnel of All
India Services, but other floating population
desirous of having such common pattern of education
is also eligible for admission to the remaining
seats.

Computer Education :- |
|
The
Vidyalaya being in its Primary stage, has a small
Computer Lab, with four Computers connected with
Internet facility, Computer are used by the teachers
to impart lessons to the students. |

Library :- |
|
A
Library is the heart of a Vidyalaya, the Vidyalaya
library contains about 600 books in English and Hindi
and are of great interest to the students. As per KVS
norms class library system is followed in the
Vidyalaya, where the teachers taking library periods,
carry the library books to the class and the students
are allowed to read the story books in the class.
Besides the library books, local and National News
papers and a number of weekly, fortnightly and monthly
magazines are also available in the Library for the
students and teachers. |

Every
class is given a few periods of Work Experience in the
class time table wherein the concerned teacher teaches
the students to draw and paint, to prepare greeting
cards, wall decoration, paper flowers etc. |
